Alexandra Brueggeman (b. 1997) is an artist utilizing visual, auditory, and written practices in Detroit, MI. Her artwork embodies collaboration in the form of studio art, narrative, and installation. She explores place and community in multimedia story-based projects.
Brueggeman studied at Kendall College of Art and Design (2015–16), earned a BA from Oakland University (2020), and an MFA from Wayne State University (2027). She was selected as an artist-in-residence for Talking Dolls Incubator Residency (Detroit, MI). Her paintings have been included in exhibitions by Midsummer Gallery (New York, NY), PLAYGROUND DETROIT (Detroit, MI), and Public Pool (Hamtramck, MI).
